1B. Mobile App Data

The LobeDrive mobile app is designed with privacy-first principles:

  • No personal data is collected or transmitted from the app
  • All audio files are stored locally on your device
  • Your language preference, settings, and usage history remain on your device only
  • The app functions fully offline – no internet connection required
  • No analytics, tracking, or data sharing occurs through the app

The only data stored are:

  • Language preference (Swedish/English) – locally on your device
  • Onboarding completion status – locally on your device
  • Bluetooth button connection timestamp (if used) – locally on your device

We cannot access this data. It never leaves your device.

1C. Bluetooth Button Usage

If you choose to use a Bluetooth button with LobeDrive:

  • The connection is local between your phone and the button
  • We do not collect or store information about your button usage
  • Button press timestamps are stored locally on your device only
  • No data about your driving or button usage is sent to our servers

We do not collect sensitive personal data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only for the following purposes:

  • To operate and improve the website
  • To manage and communicate with our waitlist subscribers
  • To reply to questions or partnership inquiries
  • To keep the service secure and prevent misuse
  • To comply with legal obligations under Swedish/EU law

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

7C. iOS Platform and App Store

The LobeDrive app:

  • Requests Bluetooth permission only (if you choose to use a Bluetooth button)
  • Does not share data with Apple beyond standard App Store requirements
  • May be backed up to iCloud if you have iCloud Backup enabled (your choice via iOS settings)
  • Complies with Apple's App Store Privacy Requirements

8. Children's Privacy

LobeDrive is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
